What changes are you trying to make? (e.g. Adding or removing code, refactoring existing code, adding reports)

Adding an image of a created Entity-Relationship Diagram, writing code to perform functions within SQL, and writing a reflection on ethics in relation to databases/data systems.

What did you learn from the changes you have made?

For sections 1-3 of assignment 1, I learned a lot more about the relationships between tables, and how to code functions that aid in reading tables. For section 4, I thought more about the societal and cultural (mis)assumptions that can go into the creation and functionality of data systems.

Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?

It took some trial and error to create the Diagram, including how to use some of the basic functions of Lucidchart.

Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?

I had some trouble with query 9 of section 3, as this was the one part of the assignment that was not fully covered in class. I found some information online about INSERT INTO and VALUES functions, as well as the TEMPORARY TABLE command, which corrected the error myself and others were experiencing during the live class.

How were these changes tested?

I tested all changes in SQL and ensured they were functioning correctly.
