🧪 I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) working with the Fabio Petroni group.
We build AI systems that combine multimodal reasoning, agentic exploration, tool usage, knowledge retrieval, and lab-in-the-loop interaction to accelerate scientific discovery.
🎓 I earned my Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) from Sapienza University of Rome, where I was part of the ISPAMM Lab under the supervision of Danilo Comminiello.
During my PhD I was a visiting researcher at the VUG Lab at SMU School of Computing and Information Systems in Singapore, working with Shengfeng He.
Previously, I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Omninext and completed my MSc (Sapienza) and BSc (Roma Tre) in Computer Science Engineering.
