TITLE: UofT-DSI | Git - Assignment 1

  • What changes are you trying to make? (e.g. Adding or removing code, refactoring existing code, adding reports)

  • Modifying text locally and pushing the change to Github remote to reflect those changes.

What did you learn from the changes you have made?

Learned different commands and its purpose. eg : git clone(to clone repo), git add(to stage), git commit, git push, git pull, git log, git status etc

Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?

I dont have an answer to that but was wondering how it would be when I work in a real time application.

Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?

I could not complete the task in my first attempt. I overcame by practicing and practicing until I got it correct!

How were these changes tested?

Each time I apply a command in the bash, I check my online Github to ensure the changes have been reflected.

A reference to a related issue in your repository (if applicable)

Checklist

  • I can confirm that my changes are working as intended
