This is an android app with an easy-to-understand interface to help alert people of whether the item they have contains something they are allergic to via scanning a UPC barcode. The goal of this project is to help people who may have trouble reading packaging labels such as small children or elderly people.

How to install the apk on your android device
- On your device, go to Settings then Lock Screen and Security
- Enable Unknown Sources
- Locate the downloaded apk, and select it.
- Select install. AllergyID will be installed on your device and ready to use.
This will be on the Google Play Store soon, so look for it there!
