QuotaBar is a lightweight macOS menu bar application that monitors your AI service quota usage in real time. It supports GitHub Copilot, Claude (Anthropic), Codex (OpenAI), and Google Gemini — all in one compact panel.

If you use multiple AI coding assistants and want to track how much quota you have left at a glance, QuotaBar is for you.

1. Go to Releases
2. Download QuotaBar-macOS.zip
3. Unzip and drag QuotaBar.app to your Applications folder
4. First launch: Right-click QuotaBar.app → click Open → click Open in the dialog

   macOS Gatekeeper may block unsigned apps downloaded from the internet. Right-click → Open bypasses this for the specific app. Alternatively, run: xattr -cr /Applications/QuotaBar.app

5. QuotaBar will appear in your menu bar

Requires macOS 14+ and Swift 6.0+ (Xcode 16+).

1. Launch QuotaBar — a small icon appears in your menu bar
2. Click the icon — the quota panel opens showing all configured providers
3. Add accounts — click the ⚙️ gear icon to open Settings, then add accounts per provider
4. Authenticate — follow the OAuth flow in your browser
5. Monitor — quotas refresh automatically and show remaining percentage with color-coded bars

• Click menu bar icon: Toggle panel
• ⌘Q: Quit QuotaBar

Go to Settings → Accounts and click "Add Account" for each provider. QuotaBar uses official OAuth flows:

• Copilot: Opens GitHub device code page — enter the code shown
• Claude: Opens Anthropic authorization page in browser
• Codex: Opens OpenAI authorization page in browser
• Gemini: Opens Google authorization page in browser

For advanced users who run their own auth-file management panel:

1. Go to Settings → Configuration
2. Enter your panel URL and management key
3. QuotaBar will fetch quota through your panel's API proxy

• No data collection — all data stays on your Mac
• Tokens stored locally in ~/Library/Application Support/QuotaBar/ with 0600 permissions
• No third-party servers — communicates only with official provider APIs
• OAuth flows — uses official client IDs from each provider's CLI tools
• Open source — audit the code yourself

1. 前往 Releases 页面

3. 解压后将 QuotaBar.app 拖入"应用程序"文件夹
4. 首次打开：右键点击 QuotaBar.app → 选择 打开 → 在弹窗中再次点击 打开

   macOS 会阻止从互联网下载的未签名应用。右键打开可以绕过此限制。也可以在终端运行：xattr -cr /Applications/QuotaBar.app

5. QuotaBar 会出现在菜单栏

2. 点击图标 — 打开额度面板，显示所有已配置的服务商
3. 添加账号 — 点击 ⚙️ 齿轮图标打开设置，为每个服务商添加账号
4. 完成认证 — 在浏览器中完成 OAuth 授权流程
5. 开始监控 — 额度自动刷新，彩色进度条显示剩余情况

进入 设置 → 账号管理，点击"添加账号"：

• Copilot：打开 GitHub 设备码页面 — 输入显示的验证码
• Claude：在浏览器中打开 Anthropic 授权页面
• Codex：在浏览器中打开 OpenAI 授权页面
• Gemini：在浏览器中打开 Google 授权页面

适用于运行自建 auth-file 管理面板的高级用户：

1. 进入 设置 → 配置
2. 输入面板地址和 management key
3. QuotaBar 将通过面板的 API 代理获取额度
