great! for question 2, you don't actually have to initialize summary_values = None. it's redundant. however, totally harmless and fine if for instance you want to focus on code readability or something :)

Played around with the np package. Np is a very powerful tool for analyzing different format for datasets and is very smart too.
Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?
Not really as np has very good built in functions.
Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?
I was trying to understand the multidimensional arrays and the slides are very helpful.
How were these changes tested?
I ran the functions with different arguments to ensure the output was what I expected.
