This repository is also a Vagrant VM. To use it first install the latest version of:
- VirtualBox
- Vagrant
# Git will need to be installed on the host OS. On the host in a development
# area pull the Dissertation from github.
git clone [email protected]:csherrell/Dissertation.git
cd Dissertation
# Start the Virtual Machine. This will run for a little while. It will need
# to pull the box down as well as all LaTex packages.
vagrant up
# Log into the virtual machine
vagrant ssh
# The /vagrant folder will be the Dissertation folder from the host.
cd /vagrant
# Compile the Dissertation. Creates Dissertation.pdf.
pdflatex Dissertation && bibtex Dissertation && pdflatex Dissertation && pdflatex Dissertation
# After editing, clean up the log files.
./make_clean.sh
# Exit the Virtual Machine

./do-after-change.sh "pdflatex Dissertation && bibtex Dissertation && pdflatex Dissertation && pdflatex Dissertation" *.tex *.styThis will delete all the extra LaTeX output files. These files are added to the .gitignore file as well.
Comments from the graduate college and Dr. Dyer have been incorporated.
