What changes are you trying to make? (e.g. Adding or removing code, refactoring existing code, adding reports)
I'm analyzing multiple CSV files to calculate patient summary statistics (mean, max, min) and detect irregularities (presence of zeros in means) by using Python functions and libraries.
What did you learn from the changes you have made?
I learned to use Python functions to open files and the NumPy library to organize and modularize code to analyze patient data.
Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?
An alternative approach could involve iterating through each file path in lists instead of using vector operations with NumPy.
Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?
The main challenge was to define correctly the detect_problems function.
How were these changes tested?
They were tested by printing functions, and by printing the main function patient_summary with different 'operation' arguments to check the output for expected results.
