i want a trackpad which can control everything from volume to music simply through a gesture

by repurposing a trackpad from a old laptop that follows the ps/2 protocol, i will connect the trackpad to the microcontroller so i could have custom functionality, and yea thats it and to not have bunch of gesture to remember, i will assign different portions for different functions, think of it like a 2D graph
