What changes are you trying to make? (e.g. Adding or removing code, refactoring existing code, adding reports)
Edited the markdown file and created two diagrams
What did you learn from the changes you have made?
Designing a simple logical data model (entity relationship diagram) for a small business
Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?
For drawing, I could have used LucidChart vs. Draw.io; for relationship arrows, I could also have used arrow notations vs. crow's foot. I used Draw.io and crow's foot because I found them easier to use compared with the other options.
Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?
Technical: In Draw.io, it seems that the arrow lines have to be "S"-shaped and cannot be "C"-shaped. Consequently, without the latter, I had to move the tables around so that the arrows can be more readable to avoid overlaps with the table bodies.
Contents: Several customers can share the same address (e.g. from same family). Hence, the address-to-customer relationship is one-to-many at any given time. I implemented this and looked over the diagram, which seemed okay.
How were these changes tested?
I checked the diagrams several times to ensure that I captured the main variables and relationships adequately.
