I'd say no for the time being, as my EASYBUID_BUILDPATH was a bit excessive:
/tmp/3365513.master01.hydra.brussel.vsc/tmp/vsc10009/build

changing it to /local/3366898.master01.hydra.brussel.vsc fixed it for me.

we can revisit this later if other people start hitting this.
