...how did this happen? I ran inject-checksums, check-contrib, and only then new-pr but even then, the version without checksums got committed. I guess I was using a shell wildcard (./* and not *.eb as before) and the .eb files are alphabetically in front of the .eb.bak_... files produced by inject-checksums.

@zarybnicky That sounds like. eb --new-pr will rename easyconfig file, so the .eb.bak_... one would get the proper name based on the contents.
