@crubb I see now that, in addition to install_requires, you also installed the extras_require deps (dev_requirements in settings.ini).
normally we don't add those, unless you have a good reason to include (some of) them.

I was unsure about a few of the development requirements, e.g. I couldn't really think of the reason for including PyTorch-Lightning in that capacity. I have temporarily removed these dependencies, but they can easily be added back if necessary.
