To fix:

FAILED: po/af/LC_MESSAGES/xkeyboard-config.mo 
/home/easybuild/.local/easybuild/software/gettext/0.22-GCCcore-13.2.0/bin/msgfmt -o po/af/LC_MESSAGES/xkeyboard-config.mo ../xkeyboard-config-2.40/po/af.po
/home/easybuild/.local/easybuild/software/gettext/0.22-GCCcore-13.2.0/bin/msgfmt: Cannot convert from "ISO-8859-1" to "UTF-8". msgfmt relies on iconv(). This version was built without iconv().

Fixes #19092
