Old (oracle) Java 1.8 is very outdated now, really shouldn't be used for anything these days. Only the updated Java-8.eb wrapper should be used instead, as it's all openjdk based instead, with more cross platform builds.

All the other things had updated versions already using openjdk variants as dependencies, and/or are close to the 5 year cutoff for archiving, so I don't think it's worth updating these old versions with Java-8.eb dependencies.
Though technically they are not outside the 5 year cutoff right now, I doubt there is any usefulness here and getting rid of Java-1.8.eb is good as someone who doesn't know better might mistakenly start using it.
