@SimonPinches For performance-critical stuff, it makes more sense to only use a "full" toolchain like intel. Using the common base toolchain GCCcore makes sense for stuff that isn't performance-critical (e.g. CMake), so we can use a single easyconfig file to resolve dependencies for installations with both foss and intel (among others).

Thanks @boegel. I suggest keeping both then since performance may be important in this case.
