this must be done in all existing cURL easyconfigs, not just a couple...

Intention is to fix use of
git: git should support cloning from HTTPS. I've also cleaned up build flags for OpenSSL as recommended by their project page: http://wiki.openssl.org/index.php/Compilation_and_Installation#Library_Options
