👨‍💻 About Me

Hi, I'm Erik — a married father of three girls, passionate about open-source, knowledge sharing, and communities.

I'm a Cloud Architect & SRE focused on designing architecture patterns and best practices, increasingly incorporating AI-driven approaches into platform engineering, infrastructure design, and DevOps workflows.

I hold a degree in Information Systems, a postgraduate degree in Cloud Computing Projects, and an MBA in Finance, Investments, and Banking. With over nine years of experience, I'm certified in AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, SRE, DevOps, and Scrum.

Throughout my career I've worked with companies such as Gazin, Zup IT Innovation, AGI Bank, Perfect Flight, IBM, and BTG Pactual, among others.

Today I operate independently, providing specialized consulting services to select corporations — including @edgesearchlabs — where I architect scalable systems, define engineering standards, and embed intelligent automation into cloud-native environments.
