What changes are you trying to make? (e.g. Adding or removing code, refactoring existing code, adding reports)

Added code to assignment 2.sql, uploaded two images, and added responses to the markdown file.

What did you learn from the changes you have made?

I've learnt more functions on SQL, and have reflected on society and technology a fair bit based on the assigned article.

Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?

  • see next question -

Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?

I struggled with the final question in the coding exercise and didn't manage to figure it out in time (so it's incomplete). I tried to do it step by step according to the hints, and tried several strategies (temp table, join, etc), but I think I'm getting something fundamentally wrong with how i used coalesce().

How were these changes tested?

I ran the code on my end to make sure that they worked.

A reference to a related issue in your repository (if applicable)
