KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS A PROOF OF CONCEPT ONLY!

Sensitive date (like passwords) should only transfered TLS encrypted over the wire (as you already know). When using the approach in a browser, it is better not to transfer the login credentials with HTTP GET.
