About

Backend Software Engineer focused on designing scalable, reliable, and secure distributed systems.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UFRGS and have further specialized through postgraduate programs in Software Engineering, Cloud & Edge Computing, and Information Security.

I design and build cloud-native backend services — APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed architectures on AWS and cloud platforms — with a focus on reliability, observability, and clean system design.

My experience includes scaling SaaS platforms, designing REST and GraphQL APIs, improving performance and infrastructure efficiency, and leading technical initiatives such as architecture discussions, migrations, and code reviews.

Currently

  • Designing and building backend services with Node.js and Go
  • Working with AWS infrastructure, Terraform, and CI/CD automation
  • Deepening knowledge in distributed systems, cloud architecture, and security

What I work with

Backend — Node.js, Go, TypeScript, REST, GraphQL
Cloud & DevOps — AWS, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code
Data — PostgreSQL, MySQL, DocumentDB
Architecture — Distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, serverless

Experience

  • Backend & Cloud Engineering — Designed and scaled cloud-native microservices using Node.js and Go; built and maintained REST and GraphQL APIs powering SaaS platforms.
  • Cloud Architecture — Managed AWS infrastructure focused on availability, resilience, and fault tolerance; contributed to multi-region infrastructure and data migrations.
  • Performance & Reliability — Improved service latency and infrastructure efficiency; implemented observability through metrics, logging, and monitoring.
  • Platform Engineering — Designed and maintained CI/CD pipelines to increase deployment automation and reliability.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science — Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), 2018–2024
  • Postgraduate, Software Engineering — Unisinos, 2026
  • Postgraduate, Cloud & Edge Computing — UniRitter, 2026
  • Postgraduate, Information Security — UniRitter, 2026
