I'm Jonah Eisen, a computer engineer and applied mathematician currently working at Rogers, with past experience at Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) and the Royal Bank of Canada. Through work, schooling, and hobbies, I have experience coding for mathematical modeling, production, and automation of laborious tasks. My interest in research began during my BASc in Applied Mathematics and Engineering at Queen's University and developed further while studying Information Theory during my MASc at the University of Waterloo. Links to my research can be found on my ORCID profile.
To build on concepts familiar from past work, I completed the University of Toronto's Data Science and Machine Learning Certificate. Several repositories here are associated with that course's work, including the final project, global-stock-index-ml-classification. I've also found an interest in finance and developed some core competencies through the Canadian Securities Course.
In my free time, I like to play bridge and board games. I'm a big baseball and football fan and enjoy playing sports.
If you'd like to discuss anything above, from work to hobbies, I'm always happy to connect on LinkedIn!
