What changes are you trying to make? (e.g. Adding or removing code, refactoring existing code, adding reports)

I added code to assignment_2.ipynb

What did you learn from the changes you have made?

I learned how to read and display data from a CSV file and define functions that provide summary statistics for patient data and check for anomalies in the data.

Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?

There was no other approach.

Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?

One challenge I initially faced was not obtaining the anticipated output from the code. To overcome this I revisited the live learning session material and clarified, with the learning supports, the need to define additional variables for the code to run as intended.

How were these changes tested?

I created a copy of the assignment file, in the same folder so I could run the relative file paths and tested the code using different file paths (not just the first one) and summary statistics.

A reference to a related issue in your repository (if applicable)

Hi Kimberly,

✅ You implemented the function to read and display a file.
✅ You completed the patient_summary() function to summarize a file.
✅ You implemented the detect_problems() function to check the file 💬.

💬 The provided helper function check_zeros() returns a Boolean variable (True / False). Therefore, in your detect_problems() implementation, you may directly return the result of check_zeros() without involving an additional if statement.

🎉 Your A2 is complete!
🎊 All your Python assessments are now complete. Thank you for your participation, and I wish you all the best for your future!

Thanks,
Tianyi [LS]
