Design Engineer with 10+ years bridging design and frontend engineering. I'm fluent in Figma and React/TypeScript, and I use that to build the systems, tooling, and shared language that help cross-functional teams actually move together. I'm at my best when I'm helping both sides do their best work.
🟢 Open to Senior / Staff Design Engineer roles. Let's talk →
Previously: BreakLine, Roadpass Digital, Roadtrippers, ClearSpend, PokerAtlas.
Lazy Export — Figma plugin for developer-friendly asset exports One click. Assets exported and organized for iOS, Android, and Web. 10K+ downloads. ☕
Obsidian Figma Viewer — Embed Figma files in your markdown notes Built because I needed it. V2 coming soon with auth support for locked files.
Sketch Weaver — Local LLM-powered design data injection Uses Ollama to inject realistic data into Sketch designs. Because Lorem Ipsum is boring and manual data entry is worse.
- Design: Figma (daily driver), design tokens, component libraries, interaction & motion design
- Code: React, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, HTML/CSS, CSS animation
- Systems: Design language systems, governance, accessibility, multi-platform (React, React Native, WordPress, Rails)
- Building: Figma plugins, workflow automation, LLM-powered design tools
Most of what I do is make the people around me faster. I can sketch the vision in Figma and debug why the SVG is 35MB. (True story btw. Fixed it.)
I don't fit cleanly into "designer" or "engineer" and I stopped trying to. Design systems, dev experience, UX engineering, the translation layer between disciplines where things tend to fall through the cracks. If designers and engineers keep hitting the same pain point, I'll build something to fix it (a plugin, an automation, a shared template).
Form follows function, and purpose enables refinement. I take goals, context, and apply them as a bias toward building.
Open source is the best type of source. If my projects help you, that's the point. Use them. Break them. Make them better. Open a PR. Or just star them so I know someone cared. ⭐
