The TubesCreamer is an Audacity plug-in aimed at emulating the classic sound of the Ibanez Tube Screamer overdrive pedal.
In order to install the plug-in, download the plug-in file. Copy the file into the Audacity plug-in folder located in the location of the Audacity installation. Next, start up Audacity and go to the "Effects" menu located on the top menu bar to make sure that "TubeScreamer" appears.
Select the desired audio region to apply the effect and go to the "Effects" menu in the top bar. A pop-up box will appear where you can choose desired amount of drive (0 to 100). Once the setting is chosen, press OK. The selected audio will now be processed through the TubesCreamer plug-in.
