There was no project or workspace files in the repo. Looked like one of the subfolders had been added to the repo by mistake, and not the main project folder.
From the zip Lawrence sent me.
Added removed Spring source files and added the library as a cocoapod. Added a check in the login view to show an alert if either the username or password are blank.
