What changes are you trying to make? (e.g. Adding or removing code, refactoring existing code, adding reports)
I am adding to the
homework_6.mdfile my reflective essay on incorporating ethics and equity components into my work, particularly as I transition towards AI-focused roles. What did you learn from the changes you have made?
Through this exercise, I gained valuable insights into the importance of integrating ethical frameworks into Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, and Machine Learning Engineering practices. I learned that ethical considerations extend beyond mere compliance with regulations, encompassing aspects such as bias detection, transparency, and cultural sensitivity in database design.
Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?
No, there was not.
Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?
One challenge was balancing the depth of ethical considerations with the constraints of the assignment length. To address this, I focused on the most critical aspects that align with my career goals and industry standards.
How were these changes tested?
While this is a reflective essay rather than code changes, I ensured that the content accurately reflects my understanding and intentions. I also verify the grammar was correct using a word processor program.
