🚀 Who We Are

Plures builds the Pares ecosystem—a decentralized commerce platform and P2P development toolchain that puts creators and developers first. We are shifting the economics of software distribution: from platform-controlled marketplaces to peer-to-peer networks where creators keep 90% of their revenue.

Our mission is to provide the infrastructure and tooling that makes decentralized, local-first development the default—starting with Pares Cache, a free P2P Nix binary cache, and growing into the Pares Marketplace, a universal content marketplace for software, assets, and services.

🎯 Our Core Values

Creator-First

Creator-First
90% revenue to creators. Decentralized economics, not platform lock-in.
Open Source

Open Source
Transparent, collaborative, and community-driven development.
P2P-Native

P2P-Native
Local-first, offline-capable, peer-to-peer by default—no central gatekeepers.
Quality

Quality
Rigorous testing, clean code, and exceptional user experience.

🌟 Featured Projects

A free, P2P Nix binary cache — the install-base wedge for the Pares ecosystem. Pares Cache lets teams share build artifacts over a decentralized peer-to-peer network, eliminating the need for costly centralized cache servers.

Key Features:

  • Zero-Cost Sharing - Share Nix build artifacts with your team at no infrastructure cost
  • 🌐 P2P Distribution - Powered by Hyperswarm for truly decentralized artifact distribution
  • 🔒 Cryptographic Verification - Every artifact is signed and verified
  • 🚀 Drop-In Replacement - Works with existing Nix workflows and nix.conf cache settings
  • 📦 Local-First - Full functionality offline; syncs automatically when peers are available

📖 Documentation

A universal content marketplace built on decentralized infrastructure. Pares Marketplace enables creators to sell software, assets, templates, and services with 90% revenue retention—compared to the 30–50% taken by traditional platforms.

Key Features:

  • 💰 90% Creator Revenue - Minimal platform fees; creators keep what they earn
  • 🛒 Universal Content - Software packages, design assets, templates, services, and more
  • 🔑 Decentralized Ownership - Content stored and distributed peer-to-peer via Hyperswarm
  • 🤝 Trustless Commerce - Cryptographic proofs for license verification, no central authority
  • 🌍 Global Reach - P2P network means no geographic restrictions or platform availability risk

📖 Documentation

An experimental project exploring real-time, decentralized data synchronization with Svelte and GunDB.

Technologies:

  • ⚡ Svelte for reactive UI components
  • 🔫 GunDB for decentralized database
  • 🌐 Real-time peer-to-peer synchronization

💡 What We Build

At Plures, we focus on decentralized infrastructure and creator-first commerce tools:

Pares Cache — P2P Nix Binary Cache

Free, peer-to-peer Nix binary cache that eliminates centralized infrastructure costs and forms the install base for the Pares ecosystem.

Pares Marketplace — Decentralized Commerce

Universal content marketplace where creators retain 90% of revenue. Supports software, assets, templates, and services distributed over P2P networks.

P2P Infrastructure (Hyperswarm / PluresDB)

Core networking and database primitives enabling local-first, offline-capable applications with automatic P2P sync.

Developer Tooling

Rust-based CLI tools, Tauri desktop apps, and Svelte 5 UI components that power the Pares ecosystem and integrate with standard developer workflows.
