Given the rather rough state of affairs in the world of Java at the moment, difficulties related to installing and configuring the new Apache NetBeans (v. 11.1) with OpenJDK, and especially OpenJFX (Open JavaFX) have arisen. These will almost certainly be resolved eventually, but in the meantime, this repository serves to help those struggling with all the bizarre errors and problems.
