What did you learn from the changes you have made?

I learned that getting good at SQL takes a lot of practice

Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?

Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?

Had a lot of challenges in getting the SQL queries to work for some of the questions, especially the last one - had to look up the topics again around using coalesce in an update statement, using multiple CTEs and then referring to them to do ranking etc.

How were these changes tested?

I ran everything in SQLite DB browser, for the more complex changes, I ran them one at a time to make sure the steps were giving the correct outcomes.
