BigSeanLLM is Sean G's public brand portfolio for a planned self-hosted AI assistant platform focused on multi-provider LLM access, document-aware chat, and workspace-based workflows.

This repository is currently in the project-definition stage and serves as the public-facing portfolio shell for the project.

• The public repo does not yet include application source code.
• The current contents are project positioning and roadmap documentation only.
• Setup instructions, environment templates, CI, and deployable artifacts still need to be added.

This wording is intentional so the repository does not overstate what is already implemented.

• Multi-provider LLM support across local and hosted model providers
• Document upload, embedding, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Workspace-based conversations with isolated context
• Agent-style task execution with tool integrations
• REST API access for automation and external integrations
• Custom branded UI and deployment-ready configuration

1. Publish the actual application source tree.
2. Add a real getting-started section with install, dev, test, and build commands.
3. Commit an environment template such as .env.example without secret values.
4. Add CI for linting, tests, and build verification.
5. Document deployment targets and supported model providers.

Once implementation starts, the repository should include at minimum:

Comparable projects in this category such as Open WebUI and AnythingLLM expose, at minimum:

• clear installation paths
• local development commands
• deployment guidance

This repo should add those basics before presenting itself as production-ready.

Do not commit API keys, .env files, local model credentials, or generated build artifacts. The included .gitignore covers the most common local-only files, but secret handling still needs an explicit documented workflow.
