I am a first year candidate in the Master of Science in Applied Computing (MScAC) program under the Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare focus at the University of Toronto.
I graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto, receiving an Honours Bachelor of Science (HBsc) in Bioinformatics & Computational Biology (Specialist) and Computer Science (Major) with a cumulative GPA of 3.9/4.0. I was a Dean's List Scholar for each eligible year and received the B. Arthur Bensley Scholarship in Life Sciences from the Department of Cell & Systems Biology.
My research interests largely revolve around multi-modal biomedical data integration and medical imaging, particularly in developing methodological frameworks for complex, high-dimensional data. I am broadly interested in deep learning and generative approaches in Computer Science, especially as they apply to translational biomedicine.
- MethylTrain: a Python package for DNA methylation data engineering for machine learning
- MethylVAE: generative modeling of tumour histology from differential methylation
- WS-IMC Workflows: toolkit for computational analysis of whole-slide imaging mass cytometry data
- UofThrifts: second-hand marketplace for University of Toronto students
