I think it would be great to have a distinction between Web3 and Web 3.0 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semantic_Web), describing the two (quite different) concepts, and explaining how we are not only implementing a decentralized web, but also a (in our opinion) better version of a semantic web, compared to the outdated W3C standards |

| *Welcome, dear readers, to an article that boldly embraces a paradox*: Today, we delve into the enigmatic realm of **Web 3.0**, exploring why our beloved [unyt.org](https://unyt.org), with characteristics of a Web 3.0 project, refuses to embrace that very label. *So, grab your digital popcorn, sit back, and let's embark on this quirky journey of discovery.* | ||

| ## Defining the term "Web 3.0" | ||
| Before we venture further, let's address the elephant in the server room: **What exactly is Web 3.0?** The truth is, nobody really knows! The term has been tossed around so much that it has become a buzzword of epic proportions, bandied about with reckless abandon. Some say it's about [decentralized](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decentralization) platforms, others mention [AI](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_intelligence) and [machine learning](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine_learning). *It's a bit like a tech version of "Where's Waldo?" — everyone's searching for it, but no one knows exactly what they're looking for.* |

There was a problem hiding this comment.
Maybe other references than wikipedia?
| ## Web 3.0: A Stolen Identity | ||
| The [unyt.org](https://unyt.org) project has made the decision to **not use the term "Web 3.0" on the project**, despite the fact that [unyt.org](https://unyt.org) as a whole does indeed match its characteristics, because the term has become more and more controversial in recent years. | ||

| We don't want to be associated with scam and pump-and-dump schemes. The [unyt.org](https://unyt.org) stands for something genuine, something meaningful, the future of democracy and internet... *we are not just "another cool crypto project"*! |

Hi @unyt-org/admin,
this article includes some information why we are not using the term Web3.0 on the unyt.org project.
It is written not to serious but should include all important information from my POV, title is TBD but I wanted to polarize.
Check out this article here!
@benStre
There was a discussion point some months ago - about how to use the buzzword (is it Web3.0 / Web 3.0 or Web3)?
What is your input regarding that?
