Hello there, I'm Mario Codes 👋

(oh the irony! that's a funny surname to be a programmer. I know)

👨‍💻 Career

I come from a strong backend background, working mostly with .NET and Azure. Nowadays, my focus is on AI systems: I experiment and integrate models and prompts in real-world scenarios, trying to get AI to behave in a predictable and repeatable way, which is surprisingly harder than it sounds.

I've been working since 2021 on .NET services, Kubernetes (AKS in Azure) and databases like CosmosDB and Elasticsearch. I originally started my career as a Java developer in Germany in 2017.
