Amazon (2017–2025)

• As lead engineer on a production NoSQL database, led end-to-end deprecation with live, zero-downtime data migration, cross-team coordination, and full customer query compatibility analysis. Migrated the service operating at ~27,000 transactions per second.
• Worked on a data encryption key management service — migrated live keys from one datastore to another safely.
• Worked on migrating customers from Layer 7 to Layer 3 load balancers, scaling load balancers, automated load tests, and deployment pipeline safety.
• Improved download speeds on OpenSearch replicas to reduce sync latencies across replica shards.

Built an end-to-end logistics operations tool for a manufacturing plant. Ground workers log truck movements and fulfillment status via a Telegram bot. The owner gets a live analytics dashboard and daily reports. Built an MCP server connected to Claude — so the owner can ask natural language questions against live operational data and have Claude draft customer status updates directly. Went from idea to deployed product over a weekend. 100% adoption by ~50 ground workers and security guards. Turnaround time dropped from 12 hours to 6.

Migrated an enterprise of ~1000 workforce to AWS private cloud. Covered Sophos firewall setup, site-to-site VPN peering, VPC topology, BGP routing across multiple private networks, bandwidth analysis, private name servers and DNS, secure EC2/EBS. Configured development and testing access for their developers using SSH tunnels and port forwarding.

AI tool for analysing fashion trends and helping designers with end-to-end workflows — sketching, fabric selection, technical documentation. Joined as an early contributor and worked on backend, OAuth auth, frontend, web scrapers, and Gemini prompting layer. The team has since continued independently.

Built during COVID for students missing their farewells. Facebook-style wall and feed — groups could post pictures, make comments, with the output converted into a scrapbook. Built with my brother (he handled sales, I handled tech). Wound down due to lack of uptake from colleges.

Cloud-based personalised mass mailing platform with scheduling and open/click analytics. Built with a team of 4. Finalist, Google Cloud Developer Challenge 2013. Won free mentoring and incubation from Tlabs, India.

Technex Fest Platform — IIT BHU (2013–2015) http://2015.technex.in | http://2014.technex.in

Led development of the website and Android app for IIT BHU's annual techno-management festival (~10,000 participants). Built Neo4j-backed social features — friend connections via Facebook sign-in, an activity feed, and an RFID-powered photobooth that photographed users and posted to their Facebook walls on card swipe. Platform drove a ~40% increase in registrations.

Games (2021) Prototyped a Unity-based game for virtual dating in the metaverse. Built a functional virtual environment; paused to focus on other work.

• Trained a reinforcement learning model for Amazon's internal DeepRacer championship — designed the reward function and tuned training to optimise racing line and speed. Deployed on a physical autonomous vehicle. Finished first in Round 1.
