Gesso OS is a Linux distribution tailored to the Gesso hardware layers and ecosystem. Gesso OS includes drivers for all the on-board peripherals on the Gesso Compute device layer, the Python libraries that provide interfaces to the peripherals, and support for building projects using one or more Gesso devices.

This repository contains build environment for generating the operating system image that can be flashed to onto a microSD card.

The Gesso OS distribution is based on the Pine64 Linux kernel and patches maintained by Simon Eisenmann.
