Hello World. I’m Ty(ler) King — I am a self-taught, seasoned architect and developer based in Newfoundland. With 25 years of experience, 12 of those years of deep immersion in the Shopify ecosystem, I specialize in designing reliable ecommerce solutions where precision, stability, and performance are key factors.

Beyond the code, I focus on the “human architecture” of business. My perspective is shaped by a decade of co-running a Toronto-based agency and serving as a past CTO, where I was responsible for everything from technical strategy to talent acquisition and organizational growth. This background has allowed me to navigate complex technical debt and high-level corporate goals with equal confidence.

Having an open-door and collaborative approach allows me to building systems that scale and fostering teams that thrive and integrate. Whether through hands-on development or high-level consulting, I bridge the gap between technical execution and business vision.

Currently, I am a Technical Lead at the awesome Vancouver-based Sultans Consulting, where I focus on the niche, but expansive, MLM market in Shopify… an industry that presents some of the greatest complexities in technical implementations and solution engineering.
