Create Flipbooks from Document Files

With FlipHTML5, creating flipbooks from document files is a straightforward process. We offer three methods for uploading documents:

  1. Upload from the local computer (supports uploading multiple files at a time, and the files will be merged after uploading)
  2. Upload via online links, such as iCloud links (currently only supports uploading one file at a time)
  3. Upload via Dropbox and Google Drive

In addition, we support multiple file formats, including:

  1. PDF (.pdf)
  2. WORD (.doc, .docx)
  3. PPT (.ppt, .pptx)
  4. IMAGE (.png, .jpg, .jpeg)

Note: The total file size cannot exceed 500MB.

Next, let’s follow the detailed guide on how to upload files.

Step 1.  Go to the upload page #

After logging in, go to the [Dashboard] and click the [Upload] button.

Step 2.  Select an upload method #

Method 1: Upload from local computer #

Click [Upload Files] on the upload page to select a local file. If you choose a single file, it will begin uploading and converting immediately. If you select multiple files, they will be merged before conversion. The following sections will discuss single-file and multi-file merging uploads separately:

Functional button descriptions for this page:

● Auto Sort: Smart sorting feature that automatically sorts files by the numbers (0-9) or letters (A-Z) contained in the file names.

● Conversion Settings: Conversion parameter settings can be used to set page split modes, page rendering quality, and image quality parameters. Default parameters are usually sufficient. For more details, please refer to this article, Page Split Modes And Page Rendering Quality.

Method 2: Upload via online file links #

Click [File URL], enter the file’s online link, and click [Upload]. The platform will automatically download and begin uploading the file.

The file must be accessible over the network and have public access permissions. File links typically begin with http:// or https:// and end with document extensions such as .pdf.

Step 3. Wait for Conversion #

After selecting the file(s), they will be automatically uploaded and converted into a flipbook. Generally, it only takes a few minutes to complete the conversion process.

Note: Do not close the webpage during the file upload process. Otherwise, it will interrupt the upload. Once the file(s) have entered the conversion process, you can close the webpage or return to the dashboard. The conversion will continue in the background, and you do not need to wait for the webpage to complete.
