What is learnwithparam?
learnwithparam is an interactive learning platform where you learn by building real-world applications. Instead of watching videos, you work through hands-on lessons with code, quizzes, and projects in a conversational UI.
Who teaches the courses?
All content is created and taught by Param Harrison, a Head of Engineering with 15+ years of experience building production systems. You learn directly from someone who builds these systems professionally.
What makes this different from other learning platforms?
Every lesson is interactive — you write code, answer quizzes, and validate your work as you go. It's not just passive video lectures — every lesson is hands-on. You build real systems like RAG pipelines, AI agents, and Text-to-SQL engines.
Do I need prior experience?
It depends on the workshop. Beginner workshops start from scratch. Intermediate and advanced workshops assume some programming experience. Check the prerequisites on each workshop page.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes! Each paid workshop has select free preview lessons across each module — we picked the most interesting ones so you can see exactly what you are getting. Plus, our foundational courses are completely free.
Is there a community?
Yes! We have an active community on Skool where engineers from NVIDIA, Microsoft, Wise, and other companies discuss projects, share progress, and help each other.
Learning Paths
What is a Learning Path?
A Learning Path (or Program) is a structured sequence of workshops designed to take you from beginner to job-ready in a specific engineering discipline. Each workshop builds on the previous one.
How long does a Learning Path take?
Each program shows an estimated duration. The AI Engineer Path, for example, is designed for ~10 weeks at a comfortable pace. You can go faster or slower — there are no deadlines.
Do I have to follow the path order?
We strongly recommend it. Each workshop is designed as a prerequisite for the next. Skipping ahead means you may miss foundational concepts that later workshops build on.
What do I get when I complete a Learning Path?
You earn program-specific badges, XP rewards, and most importantly — a portfolio of real projects you built during the path. These are systems you can show in interviews or use at work.
Can I buy a Learning Path as a one-time purchase?
Yes! Learning Paths are available as one-time purchases with lifetime access. Check the bootcamps page for current prices.
Pricing & Billing
What is included in the free plan?
The free plan includes foundational workshops and courses, community access, progress tracking with XP, and certificates of completion.
What do I get when I purchase a workshop or program?
You get lifetime access to all the workshop materials, hands-on projects, updates, and priority support from Param. Programs include all workshops in the learning path.
Do individual purchases expire?
No! When you buy a workshop or program, you get lifetime access. Come back whenever you want.
Why are prices different in my region?
We use Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) to make our content accessible worldwide. Prices are adjusted based on your location so that learning is affordable everywhere.
Can I deactivate regional pricing?
Yes. On the pricing page, you can toggle regional pricing off if you prefer to pay full price. This is entirely optional — regional pricing is there to make learning accessible.
Can my company pay for my purchase?
Absolutely! Many engineers have their companies cover the cost. Reach out and we can provide an invoice or any details your company needs.
Do you offer refunds?
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, reach out within 14 days of purchase and we will work something out.

How do I create an account?
Click "Sign In" in the top navigation and create an account with your email address. No credit card required for the free plan.
Is my progress saved?
Yes! Your progress is saved locally and synced to the cloud when you are signed in. If you start learning without an account, your progress will be preserved when you sign up.
Can I use multiple devices?
Yes. When you are signed in, your progress syncs across devices. Start on your laptop, continue on your tablet — your XP, completed lessons, and badges all carry over.
How do I purchase a workshop or program?
Browse the workshops or bootcamps page, pick what interests you, and complete the checkout. You get instant access after purchase.
