DAWSON HEP PHYSICS

The Dawson College High Energy Particle Physics Group:

  • Mentoring students through their Comprehensive Examination projects in the fields of Cosmology, Astrophysics and Particle Physics.
  • Introducing students to the world of high energy particle physics at the CEGEP level and getting them involved in research projects of varying difficulty levels, with the possibility of participating in a summer internship .
  • Introducing students to scientific editing and computing software tools (LaTeX, Mathematica …).
  • Pursuing research in Phenomenology of beyond the Standard Model physics with particular interest in warped extra dimensional scenarios.

If you are a Dawson College student and are interested in joining the group and getting involved in a high energy particle physics project (or astroparticle or cosmology), send an email to Manuel Toharia.
