About
I’m a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon, working at the intersection of sustainability and large-scale systems engineering. I help build the technical backbone that powers Amazon’s environmental reporting and long-term Climate Pledge commitments, turning sustainability science into reliable, operational, and scalable software.
I work across distributed systems, large-scale data platforms, and AI workflows, with a focus on designing foundations that last and tools that make teams faster. I’m at my best parachuting into ambiguous problem spaces, diving deep, and shipping high-leverage solutions. I’m a strong believer in clean abstractions, thoughtful designs, and engineering that balances correctness with pragmatism.
I completed my Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, and my undergraduate studies from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. During my time at IIT Bombay, I was deeply involved with the Web and Coding Club, managing the club and leading a team of 22 sophomores. Those years were formative, filled with hackathons, open source contributions, and a healthy disregard for sleep.
I’m an open source enthusiast and a contributor and former organization member at MovingBlocks- Terasology. I completed Google Summer of Code (GSoC) with Terasology in 2017, went on to mentor for Google Code-In and GSoC, and represented MovingBlocks at the GSoC Mentor Summit at Google HQ in 2018.
I like to listen to rock music, specifically progressive rock, post-rock, classic and heavy metal. I enjoy science fiction and thrillers. Football fan, occasional gamer, lifelong builder, always learning.
