Across one exciting weekend, you’ll compete in teams of 1-4 to build a bot using a provided Python repository that simulates a poker player. 🧑💻 Use logic, strategy, probability, and even machine learning to level up your bot’s game. 🤖 On Day 3, your team's bot will enter a round-robin tournament where winners 🏆 will be crowned and cash prizes awarded will be awarded to the top 3 teams! 💸
Whether you're a beginner curious about how coding can be applied to gameplay, or a seasoned coder ready to compete at the top of the poker bot tournament - come along and join the fun! 🎯

Can’t make the opening or closing ceremonies in person? No worries - both will be livestreamed, with links released on our official HackMelbourne Discord server (link in bio)!
💻 On Day 2 (Saturday), we’ll have an in-person coding hub, where you can get support from our Education and Hackathon Team, and take part in mini-games that could boost your team’s final score!
🎟️ This event is free for HackMelbourne members (regardless of whether you are a Unimelb student), and we’ll be providing lunch on Day 2 at the coding hub.

Requirements
What to Build/Submit
A Poker Texas Hold'em bot written in Python using the given repository's template code.
Use the repository from https://github.com/DoobieD00/PyPokerGUI
Please submit your bot as a python file OR link your GitHub repository containing your bot.
Also include contact information (email, Instagram, Discord, etc) so we can contact you if you win!
Additionally, feel free to include your UniMelb student ID!
