You are welcome to submit new data to polyDB. Please contact me (Andreas Paffenholz).
There is no formal refereeing process to publish data on polyDB. However, your submission should be accompanied by
-
a reference to some place, where the mathematical background of your contribution is explained. This will usually be a publication in a journal or a preprint on arXiv.
A webpage (with some guarantee to long term accesibility, so no private homepage) is also possible.
-
A reference to the code used to produce the data, including sufficient documentation how to use the code. This can be a link to a page on github or a similar site. Many European universiies offer such a service to follow the European GDPR.
-
Some references to other publications in the field demonstrating the relevance of the data.
An accompanying paper need not be formally published to qualify for an inclusion of your data in polyDB. If in doubt, just get in contact and ask.
With the ongoing efforts of the
National Research Data Initiative to coordinate access and references to research data the requirements may change later to follow the recommendations.
On the technical side,
- your data should be available as JSON documents together with a JSON schema for validation. The schema must be documented along with your code. It is desirable that your data format follows some estabished format, preferably the storage format of a common computer algebra system. This makes it much easier for others to read and use your data.
Please contact us to discuss the format before you start formatting your data.

You need to provide the metadata for your submission, authors, contributors, references, etc.
