Buuuut, if you set up a private server, the pals continue to work even when you aren’t playing the game, 24/7.
I hadn’t played in 3 months and my factory farm was completely filled to the max with resources.

Yep. In the ltt video today nirav said the official one is only for 8x lanes, but someone is working on a 4x + 4x implementation so you can have a GPU and another card.
So increasing to pcie 5.0 would double the throughput again. (Compared to thunderbolt or pcie 4.0x4)
Hopefully they’ll bring the new processor to the 16 too so we can get pcie 5.0x8 oculink for external gpus

1·5 days agoYou may not need to plan for a larger capacity. Many of the new heat pump water heaters over heat the water, then mix it back with a little cold before sending it to the taps at your desired temp. You get something near 75 gal out of a size 50 tank.

World News@lemmy.ml•US destroyer interdicts two oil tankers attempting to leave Iran: Official
5·11 days agoThe info you’re missing: Iran was permitting some ships through their blockade (like their allies). Trump didn’t like Iran having the power to decide who is allowed through, so he’s halting everyone.
The two ships in this article wouldn’t have been stopped by the original blockade.
