I’m currently in a Hungry Jacks about to have a “Baconator”. Lol.

I’m just scared of all sorts really.

I was about four hours at the loading dock. They couldn’t find some stuff, like the roller door…oh well apparently they deliver to site. Cough and LOL. I live on Russell Island so today has been a case of logistics. They phoned me up to ask if I could postpone it till another day. I was literally signing for the hire truck and of course said no.
Getting in the barge with a departure at 4:05. And yeah got quite wet loading up, such fun.

Eeeeeeeeewaaaaah. Nope.

Woop Woop. Tis upon us again, the blessed day that begins with the letter F. And a long weekend too…oh bugger. Oh well we’ll do the next one then.
I have an adventuresome afternoon ahead of me. I’m picking up a shed that’s flat packed from Stratco in Ormeau at about noon. Big enough thing when built, 10 metres by 5.75. $16,000 five years interest free. I might end up living in it which wasn’t the plan when I ordered it. I initially got it for my first block that I paid for with my super. Since then I got a mortgage for a different block with stunning views across back to the mainland. So yeah everything changed and I now have a mortgage.
Anyway then I drive back to Redland Bay in the flatbed small truck ( Budget, $200 for 24 hours which is damn decent ) Then just over an hour barge journey, then at my block a Manitou ( Telehandler ) will be lifting it off the truck. The shed weighs about 1800 kgs. Not something I’d like to handball.
A memorable day for sure. Enjoy yours lovely people.

Who said I wasn’t wearing one today !?
Actually I’ll have to dig it out. There’s plenty with hoodies on. It’s ok for you jumping straight into your car. I mean damn I bet you turn it on and get the heating going before even leaving your bed.

Went to the YouGo servo on my way home yesterday. $1.84 for E10. Nice. And yeah it’s as somebody pointed out (TRK ?) I put $150 into the machine via my card, used eighty odd dollars and by the time I checked later the difference was back in my account.
Pretty damn cool, which is what the temp was this morning. 14 degrees, yuck.
Nearly Friday with a wet Sunday predicted. Bugger.

Thanks for the link, interesting. Those small tubs if the stuff kept in fridges aren’t cheap either.

Jesus what have you got in there ? Like, every file on the internet that has ever existed ?
That’s nuts.
Thank you for making today’s random thread by the way.

Guilty as charged…

Oh. I’ve never heard anything about this.

Absolutely. No blockades around my areas.

Further to my message on today’s random thread. Probiotic yoghurt can give you huuuuuge amounts of gas, something I did not know and discovered all Sunday night and all day Monday.
Edit. Just realised that it doesn’t actually directly involve Brisbane. Well apart from the extra methane disturbing the Ozone layer that is.

You learn something every day as they say.
Evidently eating over half a tub of probiotic yoghurt gives you the most massive amount of wind/gas that you have ever experienced in your life.
I looked it up today after having blustery experiences like never before.

Ok so E10 is down to $1.94 at it’s lowest. Not complaining but what happened to the fuel crisis and $3 for a litre ?
I’ve read how we’re getting fuel from all over the place, including the UK, but I still imagined that we would be paying top dollar.
Great news that we’re not of course, and who knows what May may bring.
Also it’s a bit chilly this morning. Have a wonderful Monday.

Does “Piss Artist” count ?
Can you draw a gun ?

And once again the “F” day is upon us. Alas it will soon be Monday.
Pessimistic ? Realistic…
Due to a physio and Docs visit yesterday I got home at 6:40. I finish work at 2:00. The appointment was at 2:40. The traffic was awful, and after travelling a fair few kilometres down the “long way” to stay away from a horrible long crawling part, we were all turned back by the police. Great planning ocifer. FFS ! So then travel back to the chaos.
This is around the Cornubia/ Carbrook area. I’ll see if there was a crash, I assume so.
Also I have my flu shot booked *for this arvo. Hopefully I feel decent tomorrow.

Hmmmmm. Intriguing. I’m going to wait till they all are available for a binge.

As in never, sadly.
This is such a strange thing to me.
Anyway my “Baconator” yesterday was pretty damn good. It looked unappealing but tasted quite good. I only have Maccas or Hungry Jacks a few times a year and I’m often disappointed. But yeah this thing was quite OK.
Good luck finding the perpetrator.
