I think we just underestimate the amount of people who think like that

Lemmy is only developed by 2 people full time. They have no where near the manpower of Reddit. Things just take time.

Only if you trust the device your decrypting on. Wouldn’t trust windows or Mac with information that could put me in jail.

Or the scanner that was working 5 mins ago and now refuses to.

I remember when reddit gold was there to pay server costs. There was a little bar on the side to show how much % was covered per day. I had it for quite awhile. But then I hit financial trouble and had to cancel. By the time I could afford to give back they got greedy and I couldn’t in good faith keep giving them money.

Reddit could have been a non-profit like Wikipedia. But they wanted all the money.

I gladly would have paid $2.50 per month to access reddit as it was. But I guess they didn’t want my money or because they couldn’t have all of my money they weren’t interested.

Hey no one tell anyone but most of the apples we export are man made. Most of hawks bay is dedicated to just growing apples… That were developed in a lab, and the fact is they can’t grow well without human intervention ( thinning, pruning, etc)…

Let’s not even mention the “organic” pesticides they spray on them that gives you blisters if your in the orchard too long.

So should we just be poor and starve or are we going to actually drop this sharade and try and feed people ?
