Wikipedia is a good shout. What Linux isos are worth hoarding? I tend to prefer rolling release distros and their isos are usually useful for system rescue, but normally rely on having an internet connection to actually do the install so probably wouldn’t be much use in an outage.

I accidentally convinced my friend to try CachyOS last week. Despite owning a Steamdeck he didn’t know Proton worked outside of SteamOS and was surprised when I said I was playing on Linux (even though I’m sure I mentioned it ages ago). He then decided to give it a go and picked CachyOS himself.

Its amazing the lengths Microsoft will go to force updates on users, and yet at work we regularly have devices where the latest updates fail to install because Windows update is a pile of shit
