Naast dat het hier in Fryslân een mooi wit plaatje is. Vanochtend wel bijna 2 uur gedaan om na het werk te komen. (Normaal 40/45 minuten) Maar gewoon rustig gereden en inmiddels weer veilig thuis en lekker warm onder een dekentje nog even thuis werken. De snelweg was weer goed begaanbaar op de terugweg. (met een omweg want andere weg dicht) Dadelijk lekker met de hond in de sneeuw lopen.

Not really a install guide include it seems

Waar ik hiervoor woonde had je nog een echt elektronica onderdelen winkel, daar kocht ik dan nog wel eens wat als ik snel iets nodig had (paar keer per maand). Maar daar kreeg je naast dat je het meteen in huis had ook zeer goed advies. Een service waar ik echt wel meer voor wil betalen. Maar die winkel is inmiddels ook al 7 jaar kopje onder.

Online uit de eu komt het vaak vanuit Duitsland, dan met verzendkosten erbij is het een stuk duurder. Als al het specifieke onderdeel er is uiteraard. Qua sneller in huis valt het ook altijd wel tegen. Sneller dan uit China, maar duurt soms ook bijna een week uit Duitsland.

Ik zou het echt niet erg vinden om uit de eu/Nederland gemaakt spul kopen voor iets meer of voor wat meer bij een fysieke winkel. Maar bijna alle onderdelen worden gemaakt in China en omgeving. Ik zie dan weinig waarde in een bedrijf in de eu die spul koopt uit China en dan voor vaak meer dan dubbel het weer door verkoopt. Soms zelfs met amper voorraad. (Hadden voor een project bij meerder makerlabs 40 esp32’s nodig, dit mocht van mensen niet van AliExpress komen. Nou besteld uit Duitsland en 3,5 weken later hadden we het pas, zij moesten het ook uit China bestellen)

Ik koop vaak elektronische onderdelen/microcontrollers/icu’s voor projectjes en reparaties. Vooral voor reparaties zijn onderdelen niet eens te vinden in Nederland. De andere onderdelen zijn in Nederland/eu vaak gewoon het zelfde als uit China, maar dan minimaal 10x zo duur.

Als vrijwilliger bij een repair cafe en makerlab word mijn hobby een stuk duurder en voor klanten ook.

If you need any Linux/proton teters I’m willing to test it. I can run it on Steam Deck, crappy laptops and of course game pc’s.

But don’t know if you want the variable of Linux/proton in the mix know. Or only windows in case Linux/proton is creating more bugs.

You already got some good recommendation. I’m just giving you some tips regarding your needs.

-Can play steam games(since steam is compatible, this is mostly always checked(I think))

Steam is indeed Linux native, some games also have Linux builds. But most run through proton (this is a lot of the time still clicking install and just run). You can check protondb.com/ if your favorite games run on Linux. (Sometimes the comments recommend a fix)

-Can play other games outside steam(like from GOG where you download the setup. Heard about apps like “bottles” but idk how good it will be)

For Gog games I recommend heroic game launcher, it can manage epic and Gog games and run them with proton. (I think it also does Amazon games, but never tried)

-Video editing softwares (Resolve works but I might want to use another)

Resolve is indeed Linux native. A nice project to look at maybe is kdenlive

-Can run a CAD software(I do like designing and stuff so I do look forward for this(I have used some on windows and don’t know how its will be in linux. I know blender works but it’s more of a modeling than CAD))

I do some 3d modeling myself for 3d printing. So anything web-based works of course, like thinkercad and on shape. I got fusion 360 to run for about a month with wine before it broke. I moved to freecad it’s Linux native and very powerful. It is a other workflow then some other cad software.

There are obviously options like libre office or only office. But if you really need Microsoft office for work you can try the web versions or something like winboat. Winboat runs a full install of windows 11 in a docker container. So for apps like Microsoft office or works better then wine.

I would look into running pirated software in containers. Keep in mind proton/wine is not a container.

Al software can be installed using your distro’s “app” store. On Linux you first always check your systems software store/packages manager to download and install software. (I see new Linux users download stuff from website’s and then having problems with installing software pretty often)

I would pick something beginner friendly like pop os or bazite.

You can play GBA games natively on a 3ds, when hacked. But hacking a 3ds is so easy and comes with some many benefits. Like playing online again with pretendo for example.

Gb, GBC can be emulated of course.

Edit: a other comment thought you talking about a Nintendo DS. I thought a 3ds as you said ds 3d xl. But if it’s a ds my comment is no use. But you can emulated gb and GBC with a cheap r4 card clone on a ds. GBA is more a miss then a hit

Nee dit waren geen “gewone” hooligans. Dit waren extreemrechtse demonstranten waar van sommige ook hooligans zijn. Met prins vlaggen, hilter groeten en nog meer extreem rechtse vlaggen en uitspraken. Ook door de niet gewelddadige demonstranten.

Dit was een extreemrechtse demonstratie, die het gedachtegoed van onder andere de PVV verwoorde. (Genoeg=genoeg enz.) Als de VVD dat niet wil inzien bekennen ze gewoon kleur. (Al hebben ze dat ook al met de antifa stemming gedaan)
