So we march day and night,
By the big cooling towers.
They have the plant,
We have the power.
So we march day and night,
By the big cooling towers.
They have the plant,
We have the power.

Will it be Homer Simpson in a mumu?

I’ve run into it, I think. Went out to eat with the wife and as we walked into the restaurant the hostess just stared at us, then picked up two menus and started walking. We were like, “Do we follow her or…?” And so, sheepishly, we followed her and she did indeed lead us to our seats. It was a couple weeks later when I first heard of the Gen Z stare. I showed my wife and we were like, oh… That was it, we guess.
I’ve seen it a couple other times - recently at CVS the guy at the pharmacy counter would just sort of stare at each customer without really acknowledging them until after they said what they needed. No greeting or pleasantries of any kind, and then he would go into his standard cvs scripted questions.

Used to work with a billionaire. Can confirm.
One thing all super rich people seem to do is end their emails with the most basic signature. Like just their initials in lowercase or something.
What is a pulse?

Ass clarinet don’t play itself.
Ass jerky don’t make itself.
I like how it was written in the bird person.
Who are you that is so wise in the ways of science?

Don’t you make my Sunbeam Tiger unaffordable again until after I buy one!

I waited over two years for their Naya Create split keyboard. It finally arrived and they fucking moved the enter and backspace keys, rendering it unusable.
Could I have looked at the key layout and seen the fucky design ahead of time? Sure, but who would think they have to check on something so basic?

She also made tens of millions with her insider information, and discovered that when you go anti-MAGA you’re greeted by a deluge of immediate death threats. Let’s not pretend she’s retiring out of principle.

Grab a handful of zip ties.
Take one zip tie, wrap it around the bundle and tighten, but don’t overtighten.
The end. Exponentially faster than whatever the hell this post is.

Inconceivable!

I’ve been in IT since 1997. Back in the old times, network blocks were like free. I’ve worked for several places with full /8 public CIDRs - One employer didn’t even NAT the addresses and every PC and server on our network had a public IP address. Firewalls were in place so the IPs weren’t public in the traditional sense, but it was always fun explaining to some new hire why our IP addresses didn’t look like they expected.

With a upnp router, you don’t have to manually open any ports; it can be done automatically by the camera or app. Meaning that just by adding certain cameras to your internal network, they’re automatically open to the Internet.
I’m jacked! Jacked to the TITS!
T’what?
