3·1 个月前Even more confusing that it is written in all caps like the OS of the Nintendo Wii.
I am from around so I can’t say definitively what is Canadian about that. I meant “shat” as in the past tense of shit and a word that sounds like shattered, like the bad robot in Terminator 2 when he froze. Never the best joke if it needs explaining; I was just being a bit silly.
I am from Winnipeg. Natural selection has made us immune down to -40.
Edit: but then we just shatter. My tombstone will say “Jim shat himself to death” and there will be a statue of me wearing shorts.

Vegan@slrpnk.net•If You’re Afraid of Vegan Meat, You’re Being Played
41·2 个月前I am not vegan yet but my sister is. I make — in my opinion — the best vegan burgers in the world. I lean into beets and sweet potato: awesome. I am not venturing into the pretending it is meat territory because I don’t really see the point. And that’s it, I guess. Why should I feel compelled to mimic chicken or beef when the alternatives are amazing in their own right?
I am not afraid of the vegan meat industry; I see it as a pointless waste because why bother to mimic something that demographic supposedly doesn’t even want? It is so easy to make a succulent vegan meal. The cynic in me is saying this is a trap to keep you tied to meat-o-sphere, even if you are not the one consuming it directly.

1·3 个月前Now that you mention it, there was that story about Air Canada’s chatbot misleading a customer which ended up costing them $800. 😔
Edit: I know, legal fees and such, but there didn’t appear to be any punitive component nor incentive to change course.

How? Surely this was put in place as a cost cutting measure. I mean, terminate it, sure. Pay actual humans. I just have questions.
